Our school has been having great success with inclusion. I developed a plan that allows learning from both reg. ed and special ed. We call it the Dragon Club. We use inclusion as Cross Incusion. A booklet has been written for this project, it's called the Dragon Club. For a copy email me and I can send you the booklet if your interested.
