After substantive research and equal frustration, I am currently assessing the viability of starting a new educational program in the Philadelphia area specifically geared for children diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome/PDD-NOS. Geared for high-functioning children between the ages of 7 and 10, I'd appreciate any input, perspectives and recommendations to support my findings that private schools geared toward children with learning differences (the majority being structured to deal with dyslexia and ADD/ADHD types of needs) are not able to fill the specific needs of these children.
